Bloodborne Weapons: Forms, Scaling and Acquisition
Understand trick weapons, firearms, variants and how to choose a weapon for your build.
Right-hand trick weapons have two forms with different attacks; firearms occupy the left hand. Choose by moveset, availability and the scaling of the attacks you use. A normal, Uncanny or Lost variant can change gem slots and acquisition, so confirm the exact version before planning upgrades.

What changes with transformation
A trick weapon’s second form can alter reach, speed and damage type. Chikage’s blood form also drains health; Holy Moonlight Sword gains arcane effects; Saw Cleaver changes between folded serrated and extended attacks. These examples are not a complete weapon list.
Acquisition and variants
The fetched weapon index distinguishes right-hand weapons and firearms and describes normal, Uncanny and Lost trick-weapon variants. Their gem slots can differ. A complete table of every weapon’s requirements, variant locations and scaling has not been cross-checked, so this page remains a curated starting index.
